Examples of TRAQ Center Partnerships

*  Commuter Choice Initiative
   Encouraging commuting choices other than solo vehicle driving
   by taking advantage of recently passed tax incentives for transit,
   vanpooling, and parking benefits.

•  "It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air" Initiative
   National and community-based effort to educate the driving
   public about the importance of personal travel decisions,
   alternatives to driving alone, and  the resulting impact on air
   quality and congestion.

•  Let Kids Lead
   Involving youth  in decision-making processes to effectively
   reduce emissions from travel activity.

•  Heavy Duty Vehicle Retrofit
   Providing technical assistance to New Jersey to implement heavy
   duty retrofit program for SIP credit, plus reviewing other tech-
   nologies and programs for potential credit.

•  Emissions  Calculation Tool
   Spreadsheet for estimating emissions reductions benefits of
   Commuter Choice Programs and other voluntary Transportation
   programs. The model can be used to provide emissions benefits
   to be included in SIPs on an area-wide basis or to estimate bene-
   fits  achieved from  site-specific employer programs.

•  Clean Air Brownfields Pilot
   Effort to quantify air quality benefits of redeveloping brownfield
   sites within a city.
