State Narrative Language For: Toxics
Hater shall not contain substances attributable to point or nonpoint source Haste discharges in concentration
or atounts sufficient to be initical or harmful to the water uses to be protected or to huian, anital, plant,
or aquatic life.
Not to exceed 0.01 of the 96-hour LC50 for representative important species as detertined through substantial
available literature data or bioassay tests tailored to the aibient quality of the receiving waters.
State Narrative Language For: Free From
Hater shall not contain substances attributable to point or nonpoint source waste discharges in concentrations
or aeounts sufficient to be initical or hartful to the water uses to be protected or to hutan, anital, plant
or aquatic life.

to fori deposits.
State Narrative Language For: Low Flow
The accepted design streat flow, to which the water quality criteria as set forth in this chapter shall apply,
is the actual or estieated lowest seven-consecutive-day average flow that occurs once in ten years for a
streaa with unregulated flow, or the estimated liniiui flow for a streat with regulated flows, except where
the Departaent deteraines that a tore restrictive application is necessary to protect a particular designated
or existing use. Where the lowest seven-consecutive-day average flow that occurs once in ten years is zero,
the Departeent shall specify the design flow based on the identified or estiiated flow at that point where a
use identified in section 93.4 of this title (relating to statewide water uses) becoies possible.
