After assigning these activities or
recommending them for extra credit,
independent study, or just plain fun,
you can assess students' learning by:
6 Testing students' knowledge about
  important recycling, reuse, and resource
  conservation practices by quizzing them
„ on the eight questions that make up the
  Ehvironauts Internet activity.
• Asking select trash trivia questions
from the Drop, Swap & Roll
  board game.
• Asking students to explain why they
  think reducing, reusing, and recycling
are good for the environment; how the
  recycling loop works; the difference
  between renewable and nonrenewable
  resources; the difference between
  renewable and recyclable; and other
  thought-provoking questions.
