Recycling and reusing are two ways to cut down on the amount of trash we create. Preventing waste before
it becomes trash is even better. All of these actions are important to saving natural resources and protecting
our environment.
EPA's Office of Solid Waste (OSW) is sponsoring a contest to find the best poster on waste reduction. Be
creative, and show us your best ideas for saving resources and the planet. Examine your home, school, and

to illustrate the theme, "Paint a Path to a World With Less Waste."
