through 12 in the United-States and
its territories. S

> Entries should express students'
own interpretation of the theme,
"Desjgn a World With Less Waste/
> Oj?!y one entry per student is
permitted. Due to the anticipated
/volume of submissions, artwork
cannot be returned.
Students must submit original art-
work. No copyrighted characters,
images, photographs, symbols,
phrases, or poetry may be used.
No copying or tracing is allowed.
Artwork may contain words,
phrases, poetry, or other writing—
up to 25 words maximum. Please
do not sign the artwork or include
a date in the design.
Artwork should be no larger than
8'/2 inches x 8/2 inches on un-
folded, unlined white paper or
poster board.
-'•- Anyty^e of artistic medium may
be used tc-praduce designs. If
using charcoal or pastels, please
protect the surface from smudging
during shipping (for example, you
could use a clear acetate protector
or tissue overlay).
> Each entry must be accompanied
by a piece of paper that includes
the student's name, address,
phone number, grade, age, and
e-mail if available. This paper
must be gently taped to the back
of the entry. Please do not write
directly on the back of the entry or
staple this paper to the entry.
• All artwork received by EPA
becomes the property of EPA,
and EPA will retain all rights for
reproduction in all media. Artwork
may be modified for reproduction
purposes.
