How can I get a copy of BFSS?
BFSS is available from EPA's Alternative Treatment Technology
Information Clearinghouse (ATTIC) bulletin board system (BBS)
(513-569-7610, telnet: cinbbs.cin.epa.gov). Office of Research and Devel-
opment (ORD) web site (http://www.epa.gov/ord and http://www.epa.gov/
ORD/WebPubs/biorem/), and Cleanup Information (CLU-IN) BBS (301-
589-8366) and web site (http://clu-in.com). The software is designed to be
downloaded and operated off a hard disk or a local area network (LAN).
To request a copy of the system, call 513-569-7562. To register as a user
and receive EPA's Bioremedfafion in the Field bulletin, as well as
notices of system updates, call EPA's National Risk Management
Research Laboratory (NRMRL) at 513-569-7562.
Hour can I contribute to the BFSS database?
The Bioremediation Field Initiative is continually adding new sites to
the BFSS database. If you are aware of a site suitable for inclusion,
please write to BFSS Support, Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG), 110
HartweU Avenue, Lexington, MA 02173-3134 or fax to 617-674-2851. Once
you provide information on a site, this information will be made avail-
able through BFSS to the community of users, and you will be given
the opportunity to update the site status on a semiannual basis.
