Field  Analytic  Technologies
Encyclopedia  (FATE)
KEEP ABREAST OF DEVELOPMENTS THAT ARE MAKING ANALYTICAL
INSTRUMENTATION FIELD DEPLOYABLE THROUGH ADVANCES IN
COMPUTERIZATION, ELECTRONICS, AND BIOTECHNOLOGY.
 This online encyclopedia provides information
    about technologies which can be used for
    hazardous waste site characterization or for
 monitoring the progress of remedial efforts. In
  some cases, these technologies also provide
    confirmation sampling and analysis for site
                           close-out.

The encyclopedia is being debuted initially with
 information on ten classes of technologies and
will gradually be expanded with additional field
             analytical technology classes.
