urpose
This workshop will provide participants with
an opportunity fo. examine and discuss the
design and operation of adsorptive media
processes for the removal of arsenic from
drinking water.
Workshop Goals
Review design and operation information on
the use of adsorptive media for the removal
of arsenic from drinking water, including
media selection
Discuss the numerous laboratory and pilot
plant studies conducted on the newly
developed iron based media and other
recently developed media products
'•• Evaluate this information to form the basis
for providing guidance for the selection of
the most appropriate media for arsenic
removal technology
Who Should Attend
This workshop is aimed at all professionals
dealing with the removal of arsenic from
drinking water, including consultants,
researchers, regulators, utility managers,
and Federal, regional, state, and local
agency decision-makers.
