New Smoke-free Home Kit
With help from partners and focus groups, the Smoke-free Homes
Program has redeveloped the pledge brochure and kit with completely
new text, design and layout. Each product now has:

   •  Dual languages - both Spanish and English text, so no need to
     order languages separately!
   •  New Nick and Tina mascots and a variety of friends
   •  Clearer messages complimented with bright and attractive
     graphics images of various housing, daycare and car.

The pledge brochure is now entitled "Protect Your Children: Take the
Smoke-free Home Pledge".  The Smoke-free Home Kit has been
revamped to include next steps to keeping a smoke-free home,
redesigned magnets and decafs, and "pass the pledge" information for
family and friends. (February 2004).
UPDATED! BILINGUAL PLEDGE EVENT PLANNING GUIDE

Across the country, partners have taken advantage of the customizable
Planning Guide for Pledge Events. This easy-to-use MS Word document is
now in English and Spanish! You can get this updated version on the web at
www.epa.gov/smoke-free and on CD-ROM (January 2004).
