Region 3 GPRA Baseline RCRA Corrective Action Facility Giant Resource Recovery, Inc. (Formerly: Oldover Corp. Arvonia) Route 1 State Road 652 Arvonia, VA 23004 EPA ID: VAD098443443 Last Update: 12/20/2005 Current Progress at the Site This facility is one of EPA Region Ill's high priority RCRA corrective action sites. EPA has determined that the Environmental Indicators have been met. Through an extensive record search and a site visit it appears that there has never been a reportable release to the environment at this facility. A number of Solid Waste Management Units were removed, replaced and clean closed. Soil samples were analyzed for organics and metals. All of the organic compound concentrations were below EPA's screening levels. Three metals slightly exceeded EPA's screening levels. These exceedences were not contributed to contamination from hazardous waste management operations but reflect naturally occurring concentrations. Site Responsibility RCRA Corrective Action activities at this facility are being conducted under the direction of Virginia's Department of Environmental Quality.
