     The importance of collecting and making available  the  information

pertaining to solid-waste-related research, demonsfration projects,

and other activities was emphasized by the specific authorization  con-

tained in Section 2Q^(b] of the Solid Waste Disposal Act, PUDiic Law

89-272.  The present booklet lists publications  that have been  collectec

or published by the U.S.. Environmental Protection  Agency  in  response

to th i s di recti ve.
