Ambient monitoring information has been collected from 19 states and lo-
calities on more than 100 pollutants. Table 12 presents these data, including
the pollutant measured, state or locality conducting the measurement, and the
sampling technique and analytical method used by the state or locality. The
sampling techniques and analytical methods have been coded; an explanation of
the code is provided at the end of the table. The reader should address any
questions or requests for additional information on a state or local agency's
ambient monitoring activities to the ambient monitoring contacts identified in
Tables 1 and 2 in Part 2.
