This conference will provide participants with
an opportunity to examine and discuss
current and future environmental issues
shaping the hard rock mining industry with
emphasis on case study analysis and
technology verification.
The conference goal is to provide a forum
for the exchange of scientific information
on current and future environmental issues
shaping the mining industry. This informa-
tion exchange will serve to enhance the
legacy of remediation and cleanup and
contribute to the sustainable LK-Si modern
mining industry. / . ;
This conference is aimed at hardrock
mining remediation researchers and practi-
tioners; federal, state, local, and tribal
decision makers; the mining industry; and
others interested in hardrock mining
remediation.
On the evenings of Tuesday, May 7 and
Wednesday, May 8 there will be a Poster
Session where attendees will have the
opportunity to discuss projects one-on-one
with poster presenters. Topics will cover a
wide range of subjects related to Hardrock
Mining issues.
