tal Protection Agency is a safe, enjoyable

Fire Alarms
In case of a fire alarm, personnel should quickly
leave the builing following the signs indicating
appropriate exits.
Auditorium. Exit through rear doors and leave
the building through a ground floor
exit.
Library. Exit Library and proceed to the
closest stairway.
Personnel With Disabilities
The security guards must be advised of any
individuals who would be unable to leave the
builidng or hear an alarm in the building in case
of an emergency.
Laboratory Visitors
Laboratories at the AWBERC facility operate
under a Chemical Hygiene Plan. All laborato-
ries are well identified. Visitors must be accom-
panied by trained staff and must wear safety
glasses (available in Room 168).
Tornado Warning
In the event of a tornado warning the klaxon
horn will sound. All personnel are to move into
an interior office or laboratory that does not
contain windows. Personnel may report to the
1B Level, if they prefer.
Radiation Safety
Radioactive materials and radiation producing
devices are used in U.S. EPA laboratories. No,
