PURPOSE
This Conference is sponsored by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Water
Program Operations, to discuss and disseminate
information on the need for water conservation,
state of the art technology and economicsof water
conservation. This Conference will provide a
forum to exchange experience and views on water
conservation and municipal wastewater flow
reduction and to discuss impact of water
conservation on various community segments.
Subject areas presented and discussed will
be of interest to water users (industrial and
household), land use planners, consultants, water
resource managers, elected municipal officials,
conservation groups and operators of municipal
wastewater treatment systems. Important water
resource regulatory legislation and its
implementation will be presented and discussed
by Federal and state officials.
The Conference will cover topics of both
general and special interest. Conference
attendees will have the option of attending four
breakout sessions organized by subject matter.
Thus, each attendee can focus on subject areas of
professional and personal interest. A speaker of
national stature will address the luncheon session
on November 28th.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
There is no fee for Conference registration.
Enrollment is limited to the first 500 participants.
To register, please fill out the attached form.
Applicants will be notified by return mail only
if their registration cannot be confirmed.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Conference attendees should make their
hotel reservations directly with Ramada—The
O'Hare Inn, Mannheim and Higgins Road, Des
Plaines, Illinois, by completing and mailing the
attached hotel registration form or by calling the
Inn (Telephone 312/827-5131). Free shuttle
service from the airport is provided by the Ramada
Inn.
