This publication is a listing of information sources on ground
water that are available in the US EPA Region 3 Information Re-
source Center. Although it is impossible to obtain everything
published on this subject (there is an enormous amount), every
effort is made to aquire those items relevant to Region 3 acti-
vities. Particular attention is paid to state and local studies;
consequently, that section is longest! The 'Guides to the Liter-
ature' section will help you locate information that is not im-
mediately available in the IRC. Journal articles, books and
reports that are not in our collection can usually be borrowed
from other libraries on interlibrary loan.

EPA REPORTS
The technical reports listed below are some of EPA's recent publications
on ground water. Complete information can be found by consulting either
of two indexing services: the EPA Publications Bibliography or Govern-
ment Reports Announcements. Customized bibliographies on specific topics
regarding ground water can be produced from searching the NTIS database
which contains abstracts of EPA reports (as well as those of other federal
agencies). The Region 3 Information Resource Center maintains a set of all
EPA technical reports on microfiche; most are also available in paper
