DATABASES ATTIC The Alternative Treatment Technology Information Center (ATTIC) is a comprehensive automated information retrieval system that integrates existing hazardous waste data sources into a unified, search- able resource. This system provides access to a wide variety of technical information sources at one loca- tion. The system includes information on alternative treatment technologies, including international reports, bench and pilot scale data, and industrial applications. The center provides searches of ATTIC resident databases, comprehensive searches of other on-line databases, and technical evaluations of collected data. The system operator can be reached at 301-816-9153. Hazardous Waste Collection The Hazardous Waste Collection, established in 1986 to support the information needs of EPA's Superfund offices, contains EPA reports, commercial books, policy and guidance directives, legislation, and regulations on the subject of hazardous waste. The main collection is housed in the Headquarters Library in Washington, D.C. A bibliographic database runs on an IBM PC AT/XT, and a user friendly menu enables patrons to search the contents by title or key word. Contact Jennifer Little.
