Appendix A, provides definitions of terms used in the Permit System. Appendix B, is a sample Registration Form for use in registering sources of air pollutants. Appendix C, is an Application Form for authority to construct and/or permit to operate a source of air pollution. 11 ------- APPENDIX A - DEFINITIONS Stationary Source - Any building, structure, facility or installation which emits or may emit any air pollutant. New Source - Any stationary source, the construction or modification of which is commenced after the office adoption of the Alaska State Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations. Modification - Any facility change or change in the method of operation of, a stationary source which increases the amount of any air pollutant emitted by the source or which results in the emission of any air pollutant not previously emitted. Owner/Opera tor - Any person who owns, leases, operates, controls, or supervises a stationary source. Existing Source - Any stationary source other than a new source.
