The Law requires that the operators of such machinery take steps to prevent avoidable noise and to reduce, to the extent that technology permits, unavoidable noise. Owners and operators of such construction machines, as well as the owners of the properties on which the machines are operating, are required to grant access to official inspectors charged with the taking of measurements to ascertain noise levels.
