The INFOTERRA network is comprised of: National Focal Points (NFPs) Network of over 175 participating nations sponsor access points where the public can seek answers to environmental questions. NFPs can draw on the resources of network partners to most efficiently respond to questions. Regional Sendee Centers (RSCs) RSCs assist NFPs in a geographical regions by providing database searches, promoting communication and offering training and support where needed. Special Sectoral Sources (SSS) Recognized experts in areas of environmental studies who provide custom research on issues of special environmental priority. Programme Activity Centre (PAC) Located at UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, the PAC coordinates network activities and promotion, provides training and assistance to NFPs, and publishes a network bulletin as well as other publications as needed.
