                       PUBLIC ACCESS To The
                      EPA Online Library System
The EPA Online Library System (OLS) puts a wealth of environmental information at your
fingertips. The holdings of EPA's Network Libraries can be searched by numerous access
points, such as title, author, and keyword.

Public Access Procedures For The Online Library System

Contact the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) to get a password to
OLS. Cathy Metzler at (703) 487-4807 provides online license and billing
agreements. The turnaround time for these agreements is about a week. You will
receive password information in the mail.

Contact the EPA Research Triangle Park Library for information on OLS,
including the User Guide. Call (919) 541-2777.
Public Access To The EPA Library Network

EPA's Network Libraries are located at EPA offices throughout the nation. Most provide on-
site service to the public and lend materials through Interlibrary Loan. The collections and
services of each library are listed in Access EPA: Libraries and information Services, available
from NTIS at (703) 487-4650.
