WENATCHEE FIELD STUDIES SECTION LABORATORY
The Wenatchee Laboratory was established under the U.S. Public Health Service in 1951 and placed under EPA when
that agency was formed. It is the Field Studies Section of the Population Studies Division of the Health Effects Research
Laboratory, EPA, at Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. It is a small laboratory conducting research on effects of
pesticides and certain other toxic chemicals on human health and the environment.
