FOREWORD
AUTHORITY: Grants for research, demonstration, and training projects and for
research fellowship awards are authorized in Section 5 of the Federal Water
Pollution Control Act, Public Law 660, as amended.
PURPOSES: The purposes of these grants are to encourage, cooperate with, and
assist appropriate agencies, institutions, and individuals in the conduct of studies
and training relating to the causes, control and prevention of water pollution.
APPLICATION: To obtain details concerning the various awards and to request
forms for the submission of applications, write to:
