What is the
Technology Connection?
The Technology Connection is a project of EPA
New England’s Center for Environmental
Industry and Technology (CUT). Companies
or individuals needing new technologies can
submit announcements which CE1T will
include in its email newsletter to over 1,000
technology providers and developers. The
providers respond to CEIT, which then
forwards the responses to the listing company
or individual.
How much does it cost?
Technology Connection is completely free. All
you have to do is write a description of your
environmental problem and send it via email.
Technology Connection is a
very useful service. It’s great
for consulting companies and
manufacturers who are trying
to be innovative and cut costs.

Who can participate?
The program is open to anyone needing
technologies or services to solve an
environmental problem, address a compli-
ance violation, or improve environmental
performance. Participants can be companies,
individuals, their representatives, or
environmental agency staff who see current
or future needs.
How do I participate in Technology
Connection?
Use the on-line form found at: www.epa.gov/
ne/assistance/ceit/techconnection.html to
electronically submit your announcement or
use it as a template and email it to:
theroux.maggie@epa.gov. CEIT will then
place a short announcement which summa-
rizes the nature of the services you seek in
CEIT’s electronic newsletter, Envirotech
News. Interested vendors will respond to
CEIT by email, and CEIT will compile and
forward you the results.
What if you want to participate
anonymously?
You can. CEIT does not identify the
requesting company or party in the listing, -
nor will it use the information for añ tl ’g
else. If you do not want (liT to know wh6 .
you are, then omit the company’s name an4 ’
address from the form and use
identifying email address.
