QD otii uim& r th 1?© ,©acua ®® What is the Technology Connection? The Technology Connection is a project of EPA New England’s Center for Environmental Industry and Technology (CUT). Companies or individuals needing new technologies can submit announcements which CE1T will include in its email newsletter to over 1,000 technology providers and developers. The providers respond to CEIT, which then forwards the responses to the listing company or individual. How much does it cost? Technology Connection is completely free. All you have to do is write a description of your environmental problem and send it via email. Technology Connection is a very useful service. It’s great for consulting companies and manufacturers who are trying to be innovative and cut costs. Han Gupta, PE, REA Associate EP Consultants ------- Who can participate? The program is open to anyone needing technologies or services to solve an environmental problem, address a compli- ance violation, or improve environmental performance. Participants can be companies, individuals, their representatives, or environmental agency staff who see current or future needs. How do I participate in Technology Connection? Use the on-line form found at: www.epa.gov/ ne/assistance/ceit/techconnection.html to electronically submit your announcement or use it as a template and email it to: theroux.maggie@epa.gov. CEIT will then place a short announcement which summa- rizes the nature of the services you seek in CEIT’s electronic newsletter, Envirotech News. Interested vendors will respond to CEIT by email, and CEIT will compile and forward you the results. What if you want to participate anonymously? You can. CEIT does not identify the requesting company or party in the listing, - nor will it use the information for añ tl ’g else. If you do not want (liT to know wh6 . you are, then omit the company’s name an4 ’ address from the form and use identifying email address. ------- We were very pleased with the number and variety of responses from Technology Connection. The information people shared opened doors to many possibilities we hadn’t considered.
