                                    Introduction:

This guide to the audio visual materials at the EPA Information Resources Center provides EPA staff
with a one-stop reference to the video, audio tape, and slide collections. Each item has been assigned
a Library of Congress style classification number

EPA Headquarters staff   Videos and audio tapes circulate for one day, with one-day renewal
possible.  Tapes must be  picked  up and  returned personally  by the borrower, they must not be
returned through inter-office mail

EPA regional and laboratory staff  Please  ask your  on-site library to  reserve or borrow
Headquarters Library videos. Regional and laboratory libraries may borrow tapes for three weeks,
provided there are no prior reservations for the tapes.

Special requests Videotape reservations for special workshops, seminars or retreats should always
be made as far in  advance as possible to avoid conflicts Any requests to extend the normal
circulation period must be approved by library staff
