All Federal facilities must comply with the manifest form acquisition
hierarchy under the Uniform Manifest Waste Regulation effective September 20,
1984. According to the regulation, the generator must use the manifest form ef
the consignment State if that State prints and distributes the form. If that
State does not print the form, then the generator must use the manifest form of
the generator's State if that State prints and distributes the form. If neither
State prints and distributes the form, then the generator may print the form or
obtain the form from any source such as a printer.
