GETTING THE WORD OUT ON BROWNFIELDS
EPA's Brownfields Internet Homepage went on-line
in January 1996. EPA developed the Brownfields
Homepage to maximize distribution of brownfields
information, increase the timeliness of this informa-
tion, and reduce document distribution costs. The
Homepage is an effective vehicle for providing local
governments, businesses, affected community mem-
bers, and other brownfields stakeholders with access
to the brownfields information and tools they need to
become involved in local brownfields decisions.
The Brownfields Homepage provides a forum for
dialogue across organizations, communities, and the
media to understand and address brownfields
problems.
