The popular Water Drop Patch Project, co-produced by Girl
Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency has been given a face-lift!
The manual is designed for adult's use with Girl Scout
Brownies through Ambassadors (grades 2-12) and is divided
into grade-level, age-appropriate activities aligned to the
new Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Updated information
and new and expanded girl-lead, learning by doing and co-
operative learning activities help Girl Scouts:
• Discover water-related environ-
mental issues and explore their own
beliefs and values
• Connect with one another to edu-
cate their communities about the
need to protect the Earth's valuable
water resources
• Take Action by making positive
impact such as changing household
practices that contribute to pollu-
tion, conducting streamwalks and
clean ups, testing water quality,
building rain gardens and creating
outreach videos.
To obtain more information about the Water Drop Patch Pro-
ject and download the manual visit www.eDa.gov/adoDt/Datch.
