Beyond Translation  Eco-Cafe
What is Eco-Cafe?
Eco-Cafe is a series of personalized small group meetings focusing on identifying
funding opportunities and other resources to aid efforts in improving community
wellness and promoting environmental actions. Forum participants will have the
opportunity to visit with six representatives of different organizations and hear about
their funding opportunities and other resources available to communities.

      Goals:
      • Match community needs with existing resources
      • Provide information on how to access funding opportunities and  other
      resources

When will the  Eco-Cafe take place?
The Eco-Cafe is part of the Beyond Translation Leaders Forum agenda.  It takes
place on November 18, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

Interested in being a Presenter at the Eco-Cafe ?
Organizations that have funding opportunities and/or other resources for
communities are invited to present. If you are interested, please contact Jack
Arias or Thomas Ruiz before October 23, 2009.

How do I register for the Eco-Cafe sessions?
All of the Beyond Translation Forum participants will have an opportunity to choose
from several mini Eco-Cafe sessions during registration (8:00 AM - 8:30 AM) on
November 18, 2009. We will be sending synopsis of the sessions in a follow-up
message.
