IPA REGION 9 The Impacts of Climate Change on Air Quality in the Pacific Southwest EPA Region 9 and EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORE)) are co-hosting a one-day workshop on the Impacts of Climate Change on Air Quality in the Pacific Southwest (Region 9). This exciting event will be held on October 11, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at: The New Federal Building 95 Seventh Street San Francisco, CA 94103 The goal is to provide EPA Region 9 and state/local/tribal air quality managers with information to help understand and plan for air quality issues resulting from climate change. In addition, this workshop will provide the opportunity for EPA Region 9 and partner agencies to guide the direction of upcoming research efforts on this topic. The workshop will feature policy discussions with state, local, and tribal environmental leaders, along with presentations from prominent scientists working on this issue in our Region.
