^ Introduction to Section 106 of the Clean Water Act (CWA): Grants for Water Pollution Control Programs August 26, 2009 Two-hour Audio Web Broadcast Eastern: 2:00pm-4:00pm Mountain: 12:00pm-2:00pm Central: 1:00pm-3:00pm Pacific: 11:00am-1:00pm Session Description Provide introductory information on the Section 106 program, with particular emphasis on what is needed to establish a water quality program that is eligible to receive Section 106 funding. This session is intended for those with less than 18 months of experience with the Section 106 program and those who wish to refresh their basic knowledge of the program. This section will focus on: • How Section 106 funds can be used • Structure of the Section 106 Guidance • Establishing and expanding a water pollution control program • Key elements of a water pollution control program Registration You must register in advance to attend the training. Certificate of completion: A certificate of completion will be generated at the end of the training for all attendees who participate in the session.
