Viewing WA TERS Data with
Google Earth
Coming Summer 2009!
What is it?
Keyhole Markup Language (KML) files
providing users with easy access to
geospatial WATERS data using Google
Earth (GE). The Office of Water will
release both an image- and a vector-
based version of the WATERS KML
file. The image version will utilize OGC
compliant map services to quickly
display WATERS features in GE. The
vector version will consume live KML
feeds which provide real-time access to
analysis tools and additional
information about specific WATERS
features.
