This document establishes EPA's national
strategy to manage post construction
completion activities at Superfund sites
(PCC Strategy). The PCC Strategy is a
management framework of goals, with
recommended approaches and initiatives,
designed to provide greater assurance that
remedies put in place under CERCLA
remain protective over the long-term. It is
intended to be a national strategy to manage
the PCC aspects of Superfund sites
generally, not a specific strategy for
managing an individual site. EPA
anticipates undertaking the projects outlined
in this strategy over the next five years.

Port Revitalization

"Toxics Release Inventory Burden
Reduction Proposed Rule"
October 4, 2005 (70 FR 57822)
EPA proposed several revisions that would
reduce the burden associated with the TRI
reporting requirements. EPA proposed to
increase the eligibility for the Form A for
non-PBT chemicals and to allow limited use
of the Form A for PBT chemicals, except for
dioxins and dioxin-like compounds.
Comments must be received by December 5,
2005.

"Administrative Reporting Exemption
for Certain Air Releases of NOX (NO
and NO2)"

EPA proposed to exempt certain releases
of emissions of NO orNO2 (collectively
NOx) to air from CERCLA and EPCRA
reporting requirements. Comments must be
received by December 5, 2005.

EPA announced the availability of one new
and seven updated lexicological profiles of
priority hazardous substances prepared by
the Agency for Toxic Substances and
Disease Registry. Comments must be

potential approaches for modifying TRI
