What Must Be Monitored for Each Wet-Process Phosphoric Acid Production Line?

              If NOT using a CEMS, measure these parameters...
       Annual phosphoric acid production by
       origin of phosphate rock (tons)
Monthly inorganic carbon content of
phosphate rock (percent by weight). If
phosphate rock is from more than one
origin, collect and analyze a
representative composite sample.
  n   Mass of phosphate rock consumed each
       month by origin (tons), measured using
       existing plant procedures used for
       accounting purposes or existing
       monitoring equipment.

                               If using a CEMS:
  In addition to the monitoring requirements under 40 CFR subpart C for the
         Tier 4 Calculation Methodology, measure these parameters...


  n   Mass of phosphate rock consumed each
       month by origin (tons), measured using
       existing plant procedures used for
       accounting purposes or existing
       monitoring equipment.
