What is the Environmental Financing
Information Network?
The Environmental Financing Information Network (EFIN), one
component of the EPA's Center for Environmental Finance, is
a web-based collection of environmental finance resources.
EFIN can be accessed through the Environmental Finance
website or the contact information provided on the left.
What type of services does EFIN provide?
EFIN provides environmental finance information and referrals
to public and private organizations and distributes publications
for the EPA's Center for Environmental Finance, the
Environmental Financial Advisory Board, and the
Environmental Finance Center Network. EFIN distributes
information and responds to inquiries through:
• The Environmental Finance Website
A comprehensive website of environmental finance
reports, case studies, and financial tools, available to
the public. The Financial Tools and Funding Sources
webpage provides links to funding resources within and
outside of EPA.
• Guides to Financial Tools
This series of guidebooks covers a wide range of topics
and approaches that assist public and private sector
parties in identifying the most appropriate ways to
finance their environmental protection needs. These
guidebooks can be found on our Environmental
Finance Publications and Reports webpage.
• Infoline
An information phone line that provides callers with
referrals on environmental funding needs, as well as
assistance accessing and searching the Environmental
Finance website.
