Request for Applications: Regional Indoor Environments- Reducing Public
Exposure to Indoor Pollutants

Deadline: April 12, 2012,1pm PST
Amount: Approximately $25,000 to $150,000 per year for each region for 2 years
Summary: EPA is happy to announce the release of a Request for Applications (RFA)
for projects to conduct demonstration, training, education and/or outreach activities
to reduce exposure to indoor air contaminants and yield measurable environmental
outcomes, primarily in homes and schools. Applications will be evaluated and selected
by the EPA Regional office for the geographic area where the project is proposed to be
conducted. Projects must be performed entirely within one region.

Public comment: K-12 School Environmental Health Program Voluntary
Guidelines for States, Tribes and Territories

Deadline for public comment: April 13, 2012
Summary: Unhealthy school environments can affect attendance, concentration
and performance. EPA, with assistance from its federal partners and feedback from
stakeholders, developed draft voluntary State K-12 School Environmental Health
Program Guidelines. The guidelines are primarily intended to be used as a resource
for the establishment of a state, tribal, or territorial K-12 school environmental health
program. We encourage you to review the draft guidelines and provide comments.

Amount: Applications up to $150,000 will be accepted
Summary: EPA is happy to announce the release of a Request for Applications (RFA)
which will provide funding for implementation of the draft voluntary K-12 School
Environmental Health Program Guidelines for States, Tribes and Territories. Eligibility
for funding under this competitive solicitation is limited to states, tribes and territories.
Total funding available is expected to be $750,000 and applications for up to $150,000
will be accepted.
