New Requirements for Using Dicamba on Genetically Engineered Crops Are you choosing the correct DICAMBA products? Learn the facts! Agricultural Retailers Association Weeds that are becoming increasingly resistant to glyphosate-based herbicides cause problems for farmers. As of April 1, 2017, EPA has registered Engenia, FeXapan, and XtendiMax for in-season (pre-emergence, post-emergence) use on cotton and soybean crops genetically engineered to tolerate dicamba. EPA's analysis of the data has shown reduced volatility potential with newer formulations. Application restrictions and use patterns have changed compared to previously registered dicamba products. These new dicamba products are specially formulated for GE dicamba-tolerant soybean and cotton seeds. You must follow specific instructions to use these new products most effectively and avoid drift to non-target crops. ~ ~ ~ Read the label and follow ALL label instructions.
