The Water Laboratory Alliance (WLA) provides the analytical capability and capacity to respond to incidents involving chemical, biological or radiochemical contaminants. Scenarios requiring analytical support could include when a utility or laboratory does not have the capability to analyze an unregulated contaminant or the capacity to analyze a large number of samples, or if an analyst or instrument is unavailable.
