A company's participation in the Green Power Partnership demonstrates to its stakeholders — employees, customers, and investors — that it is an environmental leader in its community and is proactively reducing its exposure to risks related to climate change. The following is a list of the Top 10 Retail Partners in the Green Power Partnership. These Partners represent the largest completed annual green power purchases of all Retail Partners within the Green Power Partnership. These green power purchases help drive the development of new renewable energy sources nationwide. The combined green power purchases of these organizations amounts to an estimated 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, which is an equivalent amount of electricity required to power nearly 100,000 homes each year. This list was finalized as of January 8, 2007 and will be updated quarterly. The next update, scheduled for April 2007, will reflect purchase information received from Partners by April 9, 2007.
