EPA Region 5 EDD format version 3.0.17 Release Notes
In the new EPA Region 5 EDD format version 3.0.17, we added in new dataset and sections in
the EDD format. Please check the following changes in the new EDD format:
1.	Field
New section: EPAR5AlternatePosition_v3
-This section supports the EQulS alternate position of the sampling locations in the EDD
format.
The alternate coordinates are seperated from the EPAR5LOC_v3 section and it is not
required. The location section (EPAR5LOC_v3) is required for the primary coordinates in
NAD83. The secondary coordinates will be reported in the EPAR5AlternatePosition_v3.
New section: EPAR5LOCPARAM_V3
-This section shows the location parameters. This is an optional dataset.
New Section: EPAR5SAMPLEPARAM_V3
-This section shows the sampling parameters. This is an optional dataset.
2.	Vapor Intrusion
This new section contains data of sampling taken inside of the contaminated sites or
buildings.
EPAR5_VI_Bldg_Address_V3: Address and building information
EPAR5_VI_BLDG_INSPECTION_V3: Building specific data
EPAR5_VI_BLDG_PARAMETERS_V3: contains data that relate the individual samples to the batch
identifier.
EPAR5_VI_LOCATIONS_V3: contains information about the location.
EPAR5_VI_OUTDOOR_LOCATIONS_V3: contains information about the location.
EPAR5_VI_SAMPLES_V3: sampling locations.
EPAR5_VI_TESTRESULTSQC_V3: contains data concerning analytical test performed on samples
with quality control data elements.
EPAR5_VI_BATCHES_V3: contains data that relate the individual samples to the batch identifier.
All fields and requirement can be found in the Comprehensive manual, which will be updated in the
week of January 13, 2020.
