Attend the SBIR Virtual Road Tour
SBA is hosting virtual 2020 SBIR Weeks from August through
November. During these virtual events, registrants will hear directly
from participating federal agencies about the SBIR/STTR program
and have the chance to meet, one-on-one with Federal Program
Managers. EPA will be participating in all regions of the virtual road

EPA SBIR SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Capro-X, an EPA SBIR Phase I small business out of New York, was
selected for the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) food-focused startup
accelerator. During this program, which runs through July 30, Capro-
X will receive mentorship and guidance around product development
and marketing, connect with potential investors, and participate in a
demo day. They will also meet with senior management at DFA to
discuss opportunities to implement their WheyAway process in DFA-

uses naturally occurring, non-GMO microbes to upgrade dairy waste
streams into clean water and natural bio-oils.
