PARTNERSHIP
2009-2010 College & University Green Power
Challenge
Throughout the 2009-10 academic year, EPA's Green Power Partnership tracked arid recognized
collegiate athletic conferences with the highest combined green power purchases in the nation.
On April 19, 2010, EPA concluded the Green Power Challenge and recognized the largest single
purchasers within each participating conference as 2009-10 EPA Green Power Challenge conference
champions as well as a Champion Green Power Conference. The final rankings of the top
conferences are listed below. To be listed, a conference must have at least one Green Power Partner
and an aggregate green power purchase of at least 10 million kilowatt-hours across the conference.
Later this year, EPA will kick off the 2010-2011 Green Power College & University Challenge, which
will be open to ail U.S. colleges, universities, and conferences. To join the Partnership, visit the Join
Us page of this Web site.
The results below are the final standings for the 2009-10 College & University Green Power
Challenge.
Individual Conference Champions
The following colleges and universities were recognized for their individual green power purchase
among ali respective schools in their conference. EPA applauds these schools for taking a leadership
