I have received a number of comments from subscribers whom seem pleased with the content and brevity of TechDirect. As we continue to improve, we are constantly trying to identify how to gauge the usefulness of the service. If anyone has any specific examples of where TechDirect has identified a publication that was particularly timely and filled an information need you had, we would love to know about it. Also, we would like to be able to let the organizations responsible for developing the documents know that their publication(s) were particularly useful in the work others are doing. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a final rule on May 26 that established universal treatment standards for mineral processing wastes and for 13 toxic metals. Rapid Commerialization Initiative (RCI) Final Report for an Integrated In Situ Remediation Technology (Lasagna TM) (DOE/OR/22459-1).This report describes demonstration results for the Lasagna TM process developed by a consortium of industry and government agencies.
