Superfund Basic Research Program. On November 17, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) released its Request for Applications (ES99-001) for its Superfund Hazardous Substances Basic Research Program (SBRP). The SBRP is a university-based multidisciplinary program linking biomedical research with related engineering, hydrogeologic and ecological components.
