for wildfire smoke events and take measures to protect the public. Ihe guide
provides information on:

*	Strategies to reduce smoke exposure
*	Communicating particulate matter levels
*	Recommendations for public health actions
The revised guide has been developed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; National Institute of Occupational
Safety and Health; U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Lawrence Berkeley national Laboratory; U.S. Forest Service; Pediatric
Environmental Health Specialty Units (PEHSU); and the California Air Resources Board and Department of Public Health.
