U.S. EPA Toxics Release Inventory Program RY 2015 What's New with TRI Reporting for Reporting Year (RY) 2015 (Reporting Deadline July 1, 2016) • New TRI Chemical - Nonylphenol Category On September 30, 2014, EPA published a final rule (79 FR 58686) adding a nonylphenol category to the TRI list of reportable chemicals. Reporting forms for nonylphenol are due July 1, 2016, if TRI chemical use and other thresholds are met. • Adding new POTW Transfer Quantities in Section 6.1 TRI-MEweb now provides enhanced functionality in Sec 6.1 to search and add nearby POTWs using a map-based interface. The POTWs with accurate geo- coding information are displayed in the map view. The search criterion has been expanded to include NPDES IDs. • Withdrawal Comment TRI-MEweb now provides an option to enter a comment when withdrawing a Reporting Form R, after selecting a withdrawal reason code. This withdrawal comment can be reviewed under Section 9.1 of your form. • Multi-Part Reporting Beginning in RY 2015, TRI-MEweb automatically creates parts for your facility if your facility reported as a multi-part in the previous reporting year. TRI-MEweb also displays mouseover text with definitions for multi-part reporting facilities on the Welcome, My Facilities and Prepare tabs. The button to create additional parts for your facility is now called "Multi-establishment manager" on the Select a Facility page. Facility Management In RY 2015, it's now easier to manage your facility's information. You can create, edit or delete your facility information right from the My List of Facilities page. The facilities you have access to will appear in a list or map view on this page. Facilities that have insufficient location data are not displayed on the map, but you will be able to update the locational information for these. Note that for multi-establishment facilities, part information is not viewable on the map. This mapping feature is also available when editing a single facility on the Edit Facility page for the current reporting year. ------- |
