Have land leases been filed with the county?: Yes, with Kern County in 2009. What is the status of interconnection, and have system impact and facility studies been completed? (Distribution or transmission level projects are both eligible): PG&E has recently finished after 3.5 years in the "Queue" and power will go to CAISO tie-in point Lamont 1102/2 Substation. Does the transmission owner (TO) or independent system operator (ISO) have a process to study the project's impact on the local or regional grid and the subsequent cost to interconnect?: Yes What is the status of the Environmental Impact Statement?: SJVAQMD is "extreme non- attainment" and this project will meet new "BACT" Rules. Is any element of the project - technology or other - experimental or pilot-phase?: The technology has several new components from a Caterpillar Switchgear "Anti-Islanding Device" to increase safety and has a new U.L. Listing to a Generation 4 Gas Cleanup Skid that new technology that will become industry norm. ------- What is the long- and short-term operations program of the project? Does the renewable energy technology manufacturer have a technical support team locally available?: The Project has the full support of the Caterpillar Corporate "G Team" to Cat Financial. Plus, Quinn Caterpillar is located in Bakersfield. This project with a few new "twists" will be another in a long line of over 1,000 CAT units located on landfills throughout North America. For wind projects, has a meteorological tower been installed? If yes, when was the tower installed and how much data has been collected?: n/a Who has analyzed the data and what is that person's experience with respect to projects that have actually been financed?: This project will be one of over 40 projects that Enerdyne Power Systems, Inc. has developed over the past 20 years in the Landfill Gas Industry. Can the turbine manufacturer be financed through "traditional" tax equity and debt in the U.S.?: Yes Provide a short summary of how you view project finance and structure/ownership: We attempt to not leverage projects over 70% and have a good track record of paying off/down early. What are your ideal types of prospective institutions/partners?: Banks/Insurance Companies, companies/universities located in CA that purchase via Direct Access What is the intended off-take for the renewable power with respect to bundled or unbundled products and is there a preference?
