SUPPORTED SITE USES:

Commercial property

EXISTING SITE INFRASTRUCTURE:

•	All dry cleaning equipment has been removed
from the property. The building is currently
empty. The boiler remaining in the building is
not operational.

. The site has electricity, water, and sewer
available.

•	The site is located approximately 2 miles north of
Interstate 80.

READINESS FOR USE:

This property is currently available for use

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Investigative activities may occasionally be
necessary at this site (soil and groundwater
sampling). Advanced notice is given when such
activities are needed and EPA will require site
access.

ABOUT THE SITE:

The site is located in the western part of

Ogallala, Nebraska, along the South Platte River.

SETTING:

•	Population in the vicinity of the site: 1,700.

•	The property is located in an area of the
community that is primarily industrial,
commercial, and residential.

CLEANUP STATUS:

•	Physical cleanup activities at the site are
complete.

•	In-situ chemical oxidant injections and
groundwater monitoring will be performed at
the site through at least 2011.
Perchloroethylene/tetrachloroethylene (PCE)
in groundwater is the primary contaminant of
concern at this site.
