It lists all SEDD data elements that, according to version 5.2 of the SEDD Specification, have a data type of "limited list." This document provides the limited list of values that each data element may contain. These values are referred to as "valid values." Any data element not specified here may have valid values defined by the program and/or client. The laboratory shall report those specified values for those elements based on provided direction from the program and/or client. Valid values for some elements may be dictated or dependent on a value contained in a separate element. Data elements that have a dependent relationship like this have been noted throughout the document. Note: All valid values for data elements containing units of measurement are based on IEEE/ASTM S110 - 2002 American National Standard for Use of the International System of Units (SI): The Modern Metric System.
