V xvEPA GREEN POWER PARTNERSHIP9 Aligning Green Power Partners with New Renewable Energy Projects Pilot Project Summary Project Name: Greenville Solar Project Developer Name: OneEnergy Renewables Contact Information: Travis Byron, TravisffiOneEnergyRenewables.com Renewable Energy Type: Solar PV Total Planned Megawatt (MW) Size: 4 MW (DC) Project Location: Greenville, OH Is the project permitted?: No. If not, what is the permit status?: OneEnergy Renewables has initiated permitting discussions with the local authorities. The property is zoned for industrial uses. We anticipate a land use permit will be granted on the basis of a final site layout. What is the status of the project's site?: OneEnergy Renewables holds a long-term lease for the site. Have land leases been filed with the county?: The process of recording the lease with Darke County is underway. What is the status of interconnection, and have system impact and facility studies been completed? (Distribution or transmission level projects are both eligible): OneEnergy Renewables has requested interconnection to Dayton Power & Light's system through the PJM grid operator. The PJM queue position is X3-002. A combined feasibility and system impact study will be complete by January 31, 2012. Does the transmission owner (TO) or independent system operator (ISO) have a process to study the project's impact on the local or regional grid and the subsequent cost to interconnect?: Yes. What is the status of the Environmental Impact Statement?: No EIS is required at this site. Is any element of the project - technology or other - experimental or pilot-phase?: No. What is the long- and short-term operations program of the project? Solar PV projects do not present significant operational challenges. It is anticipated that the system integrator/installer will operate the project long-term. That firm will contract with local electricians and other specialists to conduct a preventative maintenance program, any required repairs or replacements, cleaning and site maintenance. Does the renewable energy technology manufacturer have a technical support team locally available?: No. ------- For wind projects, has a meteorological tower been installed? If yes, when was the tower installed and how much data has been collected?: NA. Who has analyzed the data and what is that person's experience with respect to projects that have actually been financed?: NA. Can the turbine manufacturer be financed through "traditional" tax equity and debt in the U.S.?: NA. Provide a short summary of how you view project finance and structure/ownership: OneEnergy Renewables will secure traditional tax equity and long-term debt financing for the project on the basis of long-term PPA and REC off-take agreements. What are your ideal types of prospective institutions/partners?: Universities, utilities or large commercial/industrial power users. What is the intended off-take for the renewable power with respect to bundled or unbundled products and is there a preference? No preference. We anticipate the project's S-RECs will be sold to a compliance buyer under a long-term contract. ------- |
